Disaster Management Plans – North East District
Disaster Management Plans (DM Plans) are essential instruments for ensuring a systematic, coordinated, and effective response to disasters. The North East District of Delhi is vulnerable to various natural and man-made hazards, including earthquakes, floods, fire incidents, industrial accidents, and extreme weather events. In view of these risks, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), North East District has prepared and regularly updates a set of Disaster Management Plans in accordance with the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and guidelines issued by NDMA and GNCT of Delhi.
